Le sentiment d'apaisement du premier opus laisse place peu à peu à une fascination pour l'inconnu qui frôle presque le danger. Certaines atmosphères deviennent un peu plus sombres, surtout sur la première moitié de l'album, Dis Pater faisant défiler sous nos yeux des paysages extra-terrestres dévastés qui n'en restent pas moins sublimes. C'est clairement du grand art !
